A random observation from Bill:

        
      As you may have discovered, when I judge, I sometimes amuse myself with remarks on the test sheet that might be termed "unconventional." This isn't to say that they aren't accurate and relevant!
     Occasionally, I think of comments I'd love to make, but for reasons of propriety, I just can't. For example, once in a while I have judged Mary Alice Malone of Iron Springs Farm. As you may know, she and her sister, Charlotte Weber of Live Oak Stud, are inheritees of the Campbells Soup dynasty.
      When Mary Alice has had a particularly nice test, I always want to write below the Collectives, "mmmmm good!" After a less stellar ride, I have to restrain myself from writing, "You shoulda had a V-8!"
      But we take this dressage stuff pretty seriously and, besides, I would likely be more amused than she.
